Landesrat Daniel Zadra visits battery research sites in Ulm

Daniel Zadra, Vorarlberg Landesrat for the Environment, Energy, Climate Protection and Mobility, visited the Cluster of Excellence POLiS in Ulm as part of his two-day trip to Baden-Württemberg. He learned about the current research activities on post-lithium batteries and the activities of the research platform CELEST.

During a lab tour in the Cluster of Excellence, he gained a personal overview of a fully digitized and fully automated laboratory for accelerated material development that is unique in the world. The tour then continued to the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW), where the focus was on battery activities relating to lithium.
