Edwards Fellowship for Prof. Schabel
Professor Wilhelm Schabel was granted with an Edwards Fellowship from the Centre for Soft Matter at the University of Cambridge. The fellowship coincides with a stay as Guest Professor in Cambridge in September and October 2021 and he is hosted in one of the oldest Colleges in Cambridge “Conville & Cauis” (1348), granted with privileged fellowship rights during his stay.
The BPI Institute with Alex Routh, Professor of Colloidal Science in Chemical Engineering has invited Wilhelm Schabel for an exchange in research in the field of “Drying of Colloidal Films”.
The Fellowship is named after Professor Sir Sam Edwards, Cavendish Professor of Physics, Fellow of the Royal Society
The President of the Center for Soft Maters Professor Michael Cates, Lucasian Professor (one of the successor on the known Lucasian Chair of Isaac Newton) invites international outstanding scientists with this fellowship to a guest research stay at Cambridge University.
