POLiS Conclave Meeting

Statements on Post-Lithium Research

On 20 and 21 June, around 140 POLiS members from Karlsruhe, Ulm and Gießen came together for an internal conclave. For two full days, the Principal Investigators, research associates and PhD students presented their research. For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, it was possible to meet in person, which greatly promoted exchange and will result in even closer cooperation between the individual research groups and locations. During the event, the awarding of the POLiS Award of Excellence to Guiomar Hernández from Uppsala University was announced. A total of 50 POLiS members presented their research results in the poster session. For the first time, the Cluster organised a Science Slam, in which participants presented their research content in a pointed and entertaining way. Liping Wang from KIT won the prize for best slammer.
